Xuren joined Dr. Lin’s lab as a MSc student in Fall 2024. Before then, he received his Bachelor ’s degree in Environmental engineering from College of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering (CCEE), Shenzhen University (SZU). During the undergraduate period, his main research areas include carbon reduction policies, and novel metal-catalyzed AOPs of industrial wastewater. Xuren’s current research interests include artificial symbiont towards sunlight-driven sustainable N2 fixation. He has been awarded with many scholarships, including Star of SZU and the school-level outstanding cadre.
