Dr. Ying Yang officially joined us as a Research Fellow. Warmest welcome, Dr. Yang!

Ying joined Dr Lin’s lab as a research fellow in May 2024. Before that, she worked with Prof. Andrew Cooper and Prof. Luning Liu at the University of Liverpool (Sept. 2019-Dec. 2023) and obtained her PhD in Materials Chemistry. Ying also worked with Prof. Xiang Gao as a visiting postdoc at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Science (Mar. 2024-May 2024). Ying’s research interests mainly focus on the interface between polymers and microorganisms for solar fuel production with expertise in conjugated polymers, photocatalysts, and physicochemical characterization techniques.
